If you’re just joining my blog, it’s probably because I invited you to join me virtually on my trip to India. I leave tomorrow. I’ve never been to India. I’m excited and also nervous—I always  get that way before a big trip. So many hours on the plane. I leave tomorrow, but it will be Sunday in India when I finally arrive in Kerala.

St. Christopher, patron of travel, and St. Thomas the Apostle, patron of India, pray for me!

I’ll be adding information about my trip and what I learn while I’m gone to my India Trip page. I’ll also be writing newsy posts about my experience, and of course, lots of pictures. Thanks for coming along. Let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll try to find the answers for you while I’m gone!

I’m lucky to be traveling with Catholic Digest writer Julie Rattey. She’s going to be blogging about her experience too, over on CatholicDigest.com.

The best part of my job is seeing in action the generosity of our donors at CNEWA. The people they help through us are truly changed, for the better, by our donors’ support. It helps me to see all that’s been achieved and where the need is the greatest. We already know what some of the needs are. Of course, I’ll also come back inspired to work harder than ever.
